We are happy that we had a chance to support the organization of the first open Regional sitting volleyball championship. SITTING VOLLEYBALL is a kind of unique sport for people with musculoskeletal disorders, spine and limb injuries. This sport contributes to the physical and psychological rehabilitation of wounded veterans.
On September 16-17, in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, the regional open sitting volleyball championship was held for the first time among athletes with injuries of the musculoskeletal system. 6 teams from Zhytomyr, Rivne regions, the city of Makariv, Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv took part in the competition. Our war veterans are part of the teams.As the result, our local ЖОДЮСШОІ / ПНУ team took 2nd place.The educational and training process as well as preparation for competitions were handled by the honored coach of Ukraine, coach-teacher of the sitting volleyball department and friend of the Agency GOODWILL, Anatoly DENISOVETS.We congratulate the athletes and the coach on their achievements and wish them new successes and victories.
